Countywide Forum Steering Group welcomes new district membersThe Countywide Forum Steering Group, representing the Voluntary sector throughout Northamptonshire has welcomed 3 new members from across the county. The new steering group members are as follows: Daventry – Kay Driver is the elected founder chair of the Daventry and District Over 50’s Forum. During her time in this role Kay has expanded the membership form five to a database of over 500. Kettering – Sally Muldowney works for Accommodation Concern supporting them in developing their capacity to work with less funding from statutory funding stream. Wellingborough – Councillor Shashikant Dholakia currently works within the voluntary sector for the Wellingborough District Hindu Association. John Nightingale, Chair of The Countywide Forum said: "I am delighted to welcome our three new members who will bring their unique skills and experience to the Countywide Forum Steering Group ensuring its position as the voice for the voluntary sector in Northamptonshire. The Countywide Forum is committed in its support of groups large and small, and we aim to share issues and concerns, build strong relationships and wherever possible to pool our energy and resources.I very much look forward to working with all our members over the next few months." |
