Join NVC as a member

Northampton Volunteering Centre is a membership organisation. Our governing document states that our membership is made up of individuals and organisations. They collectively and individually have the opportunity to influence the policies of Northampton Volunteering Centre.

Types of membership:

Organisation membership: is open to any voluntary/community or statutory organisation or group operating in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

Individual membership: anyone who is engaged in volunteering with or through Northampton Volunteering Centre, or any individual interested in the work of NVC can become an individual member and this will give you a say in the running of NVC.

Benefits of membership:
• Organisation members are able to use the centre and its range of support and resources for voluntary organisations or individuals. Some of these services are only available to member organisations.

• Organisation members may get a discount on services for which there is a charge

• Membership gives you a say in the activities of NVC.

• Members have the right to attend Annual General Meetings and have one vote per member. Members will be notified of the Annual General Meeting, in writing, 21 days in advance of such meetings.
Membership is free and continues until a member withdraws from membership. Should the company (NVC) be dissolved at any time, members may be asked to pay the sum of not more than £1, towards its debts.
