Northampton Volunteering Centre (NVC) is an independent charitable company which supports individuals to volunteer and voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations in Northampton. In terms of volunteering, NVC supports individuals to find opportunities well matched to their requirements and to the needs of the organisation looking for help. NVC helps to develop VCS organisations by offering funding advice, policy documents and training which can include signposting to organisations with particular expertise. NVC can help provide volunteers and facilitate forums and networking. NVC is the Local Support and Development Organisation for Northampton and NVC Northants (part of NVC) is the Countywide Support and Development Organisation for Northamptonshire. |
